I pre-ordered a game from an online store. What am I getting?
You are getting this second printing. The majority of the first printing is sold out. I’m not trying to rip you off. If you are getting the second printing you DO NOT need an upgrade kit.
You will not get the promo cards from an online store. I will make the available at my online store in the future, but quantities will be limited.

I ordered on Paypal, what am I getting?
You are getting a base copy of the game, with any stretch goals that apply to the base copy of the game free of charge. The Paypal pre-orders are from the same printing as this campaign, which is currently already being printed. I am not trying to short change anyone.

What is going on with the delivery dates and shipping costs?
The game is already being produced, and we will ship the game and the upgrade packs as soon as they come in. The miniatures and expansions will need some more design time and will go out later.
If you choose a reward level with multiple shipping dates, the shipping price covers both the first and second shipments. After the campaign finishes, we will provide everyone with the option to bundle the March and August shipments into one August shipment. If you choose to bundle, you will get a partial refund on shipping.

How large are the miniatures?
The Dragons are 35 mm tall. The Knight/Thief/Ghost will be 25 mm. The Ghoul will be lower since he is crouched but would be 25 mm if he was standing. The Goblins will be about 20 mm depending on how their bases turn out.

Why are you running a Kickstarter? Why now?
I had a great deal of pre-orders and money saved from Gen Con in a PayPal account. PayPal decided the liability of the pre-orders was too much and moved my money into a reserve to protect against chargebacks. It took some convincing and they still haven’t released all the funds.
I have a bridge loan and in fact printing is already rolling, but some people said they still wanted to show their support, so I built this campaign.
I was planning on doing miniatures in December anyway, so I just decided to push up the miniatures.

How is the second printing different from the first printing?
The second printing has the same components as the first printing, though some parts are changing in size or material. The Dragon die will be plastic, some of the wood pieces will have different dimensions, the treasure chests will be natural wood, and the vault doors will be grey.
Even better, all of the cards have been upgraded to 315 GSM Ivory Core with linen finish. They’re nice.
The rules themselves are the same, but easier to use. We listened to your suggestions and made the second-printing rulebook and aids even better. The rulebook has four new pages, containing specific examples of play, easily forgotten and important rules, and an interaction guide. The second printing also includes another double-sided play aid with the easily forgotten rules. The rulebook, player boards, and cards have also received another editing pass to make them easier to learn from and reference.
If you want to get the second-printing experience, grab the upgrade pack. It contains the second-printing rulebook, player boards, rules sheets, cards, and Dragon die. If you don’t want to purchase the upgrade pack, no problem! Just follow the link to the print-and-play edition above.

Is this game for 2 to 4 players like the video says or 1 to 5 players like the box says?
Vast is for 1 to 5 players. Solo mode was added during the first campaign, as was the Thief role after the video was shot.

I heard there were promo cards at Gen Con. Where can I get those?
They are now part of the first set of promo cards stretch pack.

Can I get my addons cheaper without miniatures?
Each item I add to my supply chain increases liability. Supporting a version without a miniature might shave off 50 cents from the final product and would end up costing me more to maintain as I move units between depots. I’m not going to do that, please stop asking me.
Last updated: December 03, 2016 13:20
Who needs the upgrade kit?
Only people that own the first printing like the description says. If you are buying a new copy with this campaign its already upgraded. I’m not trying to rip you off.

If I can't afford this now can I purchase it later?
I have engaged the services of Backerkit to manage addresses and they will take additional pledges and generate new pledges.
I am a game publisher so of course I will try to stock these items down the road. I like to eat too.

If I get the highest level will it include the addons?
No those are addons and not included. Add to your pledge an extra amount of money equal to the cost of the addons you want to purchase. For instance if you are pledging for a game and miniatures and the 30 dollar bundle of all the addons, you would take 85 and add 30 to it. Last updated: Fri, Dec 9 2016 6:17 pm EST

Current Estimated Shipping Date: July 2017
Shipping for the core game will be in March 2017 so I can provide for conventions and distribution at the same time. New pledges though backer kit will be served from the March print run as much as possible. If we run out your order will be shipped with Wave 2 during July 2017 as well as all of the other items.
Last Updated At: 01/26/17What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
